This is not your standard boring walking tour at Arab Street. Indeed, it is a swashbuckling adventure into an area seldom visited by international tourists or locals alike.

I will take you to the back lanes and corners where secrets are spilt, traitors and adulterers are put to death without a trial. Remember Bluebeard?

If time holds, we will even include some fairy tales from the very thick book of “One Thousand and One Nights”. And if you are still listening, we’ll refresh our memories for Sinbad the Sailor or Ali Baba and The Forty Thieves. Without referring to Google, can you remember who actually killed the forty thieves? All these folk tales will come with an erotic Arabian flavour.

Let me know if you want me to do the Children Version or Adult Version. Uncle Chris is OK to adjust. This tour will end in time for lunch at either Bussorah Mall or the very humble Victory Restaurant or Zam Zam. While at it, we’ll gossip the bitter bickering between Victory and Zam Zam – where rumour has it that some sorcery may be involved… What more can we ask?

We meet at the lobby of Golden Landmark on Sun, 28th May 2023 at 9am. This tour will end at the junction of Arab Street and North Bridge Road by 11.30am or maybe 12pm.
