We kick off at Bras Basah MRT on the 15th of Feb at 9am. Let’s delve into the fascinating transformation of Bugis, where Japanese Karayuki-san once plied their trade. Uncover the secrets of Si Beh Lor, or “Number 4 Horse Road” (Waterloo Street), and explore the primitive paths that evolved into the present-day Bugis precinct.

Albert Street, once nameless, was a mere trail. We’ll trace Bugis through its humble beginnings, its decadent zenith, to the present, where Arts & Culture reign supreme.

Witness Singapore’s historical streets paved with gravel and pebbles. Meet me at Exit D/E (Waterloo Street) at 9am on Thurs, 15th Feb 2024. Ascend the escalator to street level, where I’ll be waiting with my Tourist Guide badge.
