Remember the days when buses lacked air conditioning, and drivers boldly stepped off the bus (with passengers inside!) to grab a quick bite at the iconic Casuarina Road bus stop? Ah, the audacity of those times!

Starting its journey at Admiralty Road West, near Woodland Checkpoint, this historic route winds through Sembawang, Upper Thomson, and into the heart of town. Picture a Singapore where Sembawang Road and Upper Thomson Road were nothing more than 2-way colonial roads – a nostalgic ride in a forgotten world.

Bus Service 167 almost bid farewell in 2023 due to low ridership, challenged by the TEL MRT line. But, together, we preserved this heritage ride, giving it the title it deserves – “A Heritage Bus Trail.”

Highlights of the Journey:
*Chong Pang Village: Taste the nostalgia with “chap sar koh” next to Sembawang Shopping Centre.
*Nee Soon Village: Explore “chap koh cheok” near the junction of Upper Thomson Road, Sembawang Road, and Mandai Road.
