KAMPONG WAK HASSAN & THE OLD GATEThurs, 31st Oct 20248.30am to 11.30am Step back in time with us as we explore the charming Kampong Wak
Join us for a 4-day, 3-night excursion from May 27th to May 30th, 2024, as we journey to the breathtaking highlands of Pahang, Malaysia. Discover the enchanting landscapes of Fraser’s Hill and Bukit Tinggi, where lush greenery and colonial-era architecture await.
Driving to Fraser’s Hill and Bukit Tinggi in the highlands of Pahang, Malaysia can be a delightful experience as both these places are located amidst lush greenery and scenic landscapes and charming colonial-era architecture.
The drive to these destinations often involves picturesque routes with winding roads, dense forests, and stunning vistas. Be prepared for some breathtaking views along the way.
As both destinations are situated at higher elevations, you’ll experience changes in altitude during your drive. This can lead to cooler temperatures compared to the lowlands.
There are several rest stops, cafes, and viewpoints along the way where you can take a break, stretch your legs, and enjoy refreshments. Take advantage of these opportunities to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The journey to Fraser’s Hill and Bukit Tinggi is part of the experience, offering a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.
The itinerary itself is suitable for both experienced and new drivers. The route is also simple and straightforward. It is designed in such a way that all participants are able to feel the total freedom of a driving holiday and at the same time having the added advantage of an escorted group self drive holiday.
The itinerary is not too intrusive for those who would prefer to do their own thing while at Fraser’s Hill & Bukit Tinggi. Colmar Tropicale, (a medieval French Themed castle) is a happy (and vibrant) weekend retreat.
For those who would like to do things in a group, this is a dream come true. The lunch break at Gohtong Jaya is a good time for a Bentong durian lunch. Don’t miss the Bentong Durian lunch!
Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, or history buff, Fraser’s Hill offers a tranquil retreat with a variety of attractions and activities to suit every traveller’s preferences.
