Some brothels have already begun their sojourns at Geylang – complete with new license and new sex workers. So, is the seedy side of Geylang going to re-emerge again? 

We’ll take a look at the renewed sex industry (and sex tourism) here. We’ll do a renewed study on how these sex workers are handling the relaxed pandemic era. With borders now re-opening, will Geylang once again reclaim its colourful past, or will it rock on even harder? 

While some have indeed quit the profession, many are thriving. We’ll take a look at how the professionals work their way into the bank account of their customers. 

We’ll discuss their skill and see how some men get addicted to their “techniques” even when they know it could be addictive. We’ll dissect the difference between “cheap sex” and “high-class scandals”. We’ll walk the streets all the way from Lorong 12 to Lorong 20. This is a memory walk down a sleazy lane – facing its re-awakening as a red-light district. 

It is also an informative (maybe even educational) walk for our young audience on a subject that parents find hard to discuss with their adult children. I must warn you this is a highly adult walking tour and may not be suitable for everybody. You must come with an open mind. Some terms used may be explicit and graphic.
