On this tour, you’ll get a glimpse into the quirks and traditions that define Peranakan life, from its elaborate 12-day wedding ceremonies – now a thing of the past due to their complexity and taboos – to its distinctive fashion and cuisine.
While the full wedding rituals may no longer be practised, Peranakan cuisine continues to be celebrated for its unique flavours. And who knows, perhaps one day we’ll see a revival of Peranakan fashion alongside its beloved dishes.
